Son Ye Jin and Lee Min Ki’s romantic comedy movie “Chilling Romance”

Son Ye Jin and Lee Min Ki has finished filming their upcoming movie Chilling Romance on April 4th.

In the movie, Son plays Yeo Ri, a girl who was near death after an unforeseeable accident; she manages to wake up but starts seeing ghosts afterwards. Lee Min Ki acts as Jo, a peculiar guy who does magic tricks with a ghost.

The final shooting filmed the scene where Son Ye Jin’s character drowned and almost died. After completing the crucial scene, Son expressed, “It was hard filming the movie because of the crazy weather, but I had a lot of fun at the same time.” Lee Min Ki added, “While Chilling Romance is a rom-com, it’s also a magic show. There’s a lot to see in our movie. It’s a chilling but adorable movie.”

Chilling Romance is screenwriter-turned-director Hwang In Ho’s debut directorial project. He’s well-known for writing horror comedy screenplays like To Catch a Virgin Ghost and Two Faces of My Girlfriend. Chilling Romance will open in theaters sometime during 2011.
