Park Ji-sung was placed as the 19th best midfielder in the world with 119.07 points in rankings released Monday by FTBL.com.
The site ranks players worldwide based on the official statistics of 23 national leagues and international tournaments played in the past 18 months.
Park, who was ranked 44th on March 15, saw his rank soar with his game-winning header against Liverpool on Sunday. Park was hit on the side of his head by the foot of an opposing player while he was diving for the ball.
The Korean accelerated his hot streak in March. He has scored 15 goals since he joined Manchester United in 2005, seven of them in March.
Other big names on the list were Samir Nasri of Arsenal with 117.17 and Esteban Cambiasso of Internazionale with 116.12.
Park was the highest-ranked midfielder from Asia and Oceania, edging out Australian Tim Cahill of Everton with 89.35 points.
The top three were Lionel Messi of Barcelona, who had 320.44 points, Gonzalo Higuain of Real Madrid with 185.72, and Xabi Alonso of Real Madrid with 168.11.
