“The Housemaid” Draws 1 Million Viewers in 6 Days

According to the Korean Film Council on Wednesday, the film drew 123,841 moviegoers on Tuesday alone and topped the box office charts with 1.04 million in total viewers.
Its audience on Tuesday was almost double that of the runner-up, Hollywood blockbuster "Robin Hood," which managed to pull in just 62,623 moviegoers.
The Korean film is considered a strong contender to win an award at the Cannes International Film Festival this week.
