Gong Yoo makes his comeback with Lim Soo Jung

After a two-year hiatus, Gong Yoo is making a comeback with Lim Soo Jung in the movie Finding Kim Jong Wook.

Since Gong Yoo was discharged from the army, he has been flooded with more than thirty love calls for parts in TV series and movies. After much consideration, he picked up the movie Finding Kim Jong Wook, which is based on the eponymous musical.

In the movie, Gong Yoo will play the lead who helps Seo Ji Woo (played by Lim Soo Jung)  find her first love.

In this romantic comedy, Seo Ji Woo goes on a vacation to Indonesia and encounters her first love, Kim Jong Wook. Finding Kim Jong Wook is based on a popular musical which has been performed over 1,200 times since 2006.

In the movie, we’ll see a new side of Gong Yoo’s costar, Lim Soo Jung. Lim Soo Jung, who has never previously acted in a romantic role, has been credited with her star quality and acting ability through various movies such as Jeon Woo Chi, Lump of Sugar, I’m a Cybog but That’s Okay, Happiness, and A Tale of Two Sisters.
